Short Stories and how to get them Published: 27th - 30th April 2012:
Les Chuquets offers a tranquil setting and a creative atmosphere that is ideal for developing your literary ideas. Mornings are spent writing in small supportive groups where writers are encouraged to develop a variety of diverse skills. In the afternoons there are 1-1 tutorials with Publisher Kirsten Ash from Dragon Farm Publishers, offering the benefit of her insight and experience.
These courses are suitable for all writers, regardless of experience. Kirsten is experienced in running courses for successfully published authors together with those new to writing . Attendees benefit from the stimulating mix of skills and knowledge. The main focus of the week will be on writing short stories and the process of getting them published, but no previous experience is required. All that is necessary is a passion for writing.
Included in the course is your accommodation, and delicious home cooked meals with wonderful local wines. And as if that’s not enough, there are excursions to local villages to help stimulate the creative juices or just to have some downtime to think and reflect in the stunning scenery that surrounds Les Chuquets.
Writers’ partners are welcome to stay for the weekend of the course and enjoy the idyllic setting, wonderful food and wine, and take advantage of the local trips and excursions. This Creative Writing weekend is expected to sell out quickly, so early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. For more information and booking >.
